Orientation
How the course works
A short guide to the parts of your Proficiency (C2) course and when to use each one.
How the 50 guided hours are structured
Each lesson is a full 60-minute guided session. You speak in short bursts every 5–8 minutes, so most of the hour is spent producing language rather than listening to explanations.
Core lessons
50 lessons across 10 units. Every lesson has one main activity type — debate, case study, negotiation, storytelling and more — so no two sessions in a row feel the same.
What Review Labs are
After every unit you get a Review Lab: a recycling session that brings back the vocabulary, structures and expressions from the previous five lessons in new speaking and writing tasks.
What Progress Workshops are
Progress Workshops are checkpoint sessions. You use the language from the unit under light time pressure, get feedback on precision and fluency, and see what to sharpen next.
How optional practice tests work
Progress Tests and the Final Exit Test are optional. Take them when you want a measured snapshot of your level — they never block your progress through the lessons.
How to use the Reference Centre
The Grammar Bank, Vocabulary Bank and Useful Expressions Bank stay open all course. Lessons link straight into the exact entry you need, and a return button brings you back to the same point in the lesson.
